Terms of Use

Conditions for using Khasino’s offline browser game and optional local Wi-Fi play.

Updated 30 October 2026

1. Purpose of the site

Khasino is an entertainment and learning application based on a South African 40-card game. It provides matches against computer opponents, local Pass-and-Play, optional same-network Wi-Fi multiplayer, rules and educational card examples. It does not offer real-money gambling, wagers or financial prizes.

2. Gameplay variations

Rules can vary across families and communities. This software implements the house-rule variations described on its Rules page. Different modes can use different dealing and scoring systems.

3. Accounts and saved data

This version does not require registration. Saved games and history are generally held in your browser. You are responsible for preserving local data or exported history files; browser resets, device changes or cache clearing may remove them.

4. Availability

The game is provided as an evolving software project. We work to keep its rules correct and its interface accessible, but bugs and interruptions can occur, especially across different devices and browsers. Offline operation requires the relevant site assets to have been loaded and cached.

5. Responsible use

Please use the website for lawful entertainment and learning. Do not interfere with the site, distribute malicious code through it or misrepresent your relationship with the project.

6. Intellectual property and feedback

The website’s original software, branding and project materials may be protected by applicable rights. Do not assume source code or images are licensed for redistribution unless an accompanying licence expressly permits it. Feedback about rules and usability helps the project improve.

7. Changes and questions

Features, terms and policies may change as the game develops. For more details see About, Privacy or Contact.
